The VDM (Variety Digital Matrix Switch) series is a modular, cross-platform matrix switcher that supports a wide range of I/O signals, ranging from DVI, HDMI, 3G/6G-SDI, and analog interfaces, VGA, Component, and Composite. The cross-platform features allow you to input any interfaces to the system and output to any interfaces, eliminates the need for a separate signal converter. It allows a long-distance transmission of video, audio, and control signals via Fiber optical I/O and HDBaseT I/O slots. Every I/O slots have audio embedding and de-embedding ports for easy audio insertion and extraction and it offers an optional independent audio matrix switcher for more comprehensive audio functions. The built-in test pattern generator function allows easy system troubleshooting and the built-in signal analyzing function enables monitoring of input and output signals during installation and operation. Total 9 different chassis sizes, ranging from 8x8 to the largest size of 256x256, are available to cover various sized installation environment.
The VDM offers 3 easy control methods, front LCD touch panel, RS-232/422 and LAN(TCP/IP). The front LCD touch panel also provides real-time status of the power module, CPU, configuration setting, and connected input and output devices signal information. The VDM series matrix switcher’s main chassis includes dual, redundant power for mission-critical application and I/O slots and power modules are hot-swappable to eliminate the system downtime.
