OBHD-2C is a high-speed, HDCP compliant HDMI fiber optic extender pair, capable of transmitting HDMI AV signal over fiber optic cabling. The extender offers adaptive Multimode/Singlemode processing for long-distance signal up to 2km when using Singlemode fiber and 500m when using Multimode fiber while maintaining uncompressed high-resolution image performance. An HDMI input signal from the source device is converted into the light signal by an optical transmitter module for transmission over 2 strands of LC fiber optic cable and on the display side, an optical receiver module converts the light signal back to an HDMI signal for a display.
