FT102-U and FR102-U are fiber optic extender pair, capable of transmitting video, audio, and RS-232/422 control signals over fiber optic cabling. FT102-U supports VGA, analog audio, and DVI or HDMI video signals. FT102-U converts video, audio, and RS-232/422 signals into the light signal by an optical transmitter module for transmission over 1 strand of LC fiber optic cable and on the display side, FR102-U converts the light signal back to video, audio, and RS-232/422 signals. FR102-U has a built-in scaling function and supports seamless switching.The extender offers adaptive Multimode/Singlemode processing for long distance signal up to 2km when using Singlemode fiber and 500m when using Multimode fiber while maintaining uncompressed high-resolution image performance. Due to the nature of fiber optic transmission, FT102-U/FR102-U pair is inherently immune to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, making it an ideal solution for government, military, and high-security business environments
